On Friday, December 18th at 9:30 am, the official ribbon-cutting ceremony took place with many people in attendance, including many present Board members, some past Board Members, representatives from the City of Winnipeg, GCWCC and those involved with the building of the facility. Our President Grant Prairie, MLA Nancy Allan and Councillor Steeves all had a few words to say before everyone went inside the building to look around and enjoy a refreshment. Pictured below are Grant, Nancy and Gord, present and past Board members cutting the ribbon and our logo on the gym floor, which marks the completion of the project at long last!
